Welcome!

We’re  glad you’ve found your way to Bauer Christian Reformed Church and are interested in knowing more about us. We’re just an ordinary group of people, seeking God. We believe God has spoken, and still speaks through His Word, the Bible, and so we spend a fair bit of time looking at that. We also believe God came to earth in His Son Jesus Christ so that any who believe in Him could be saved from death. Jesus is pretty central to all we do here.

Friends are also very important to us, and we hope you will find many here at Bauer. Jesus said that he was a “friend of sinners.” He didn’t say “friend of the religious,” but “friend of sinners.” If that fits you, then he’d certainly welcome you to join us here on this journey of faith.

We get together twice each Sunday for worship and to study God’s Word.  To get to know each other better, we have small groups that meet in people’s homes where we pray and care for each other and try to live out the word we’ve studied.

There are lots of other opportunities to study the Bible as well, in our church education classes each Sunday or in some of our weekday classes. Whether you’re a young kid or one who’s seen lots of Michigan seasons come and go, we have something for you. We invite you to join us in any of the worship experiences or other events of the church.

We welcome you to
worship with us!

Worship

We have two worship services each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. We seek to worship God through prayer, music, and the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. Praise teams lead the congregation in singing at two morning services a month. We have assistive listening devices available for the hearing impaired. Nursery care is available for both services for infants and toddlers.
